Orange Jordan & PSUT Renew Partnership to Accredit Certificates Issued for Coding Academy Graduates
Orange Jordan and Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) have renewed their strategic training cooperation agreement for an additional three years (2027-2029), extending a partnership that aims to build digital skills and reflects a shared vision to empower youth and enhance their readiness for the future and the labor market.
Under the agreement, PSUT will continue to accredit certificates issued by the Orange Digital Center’s Coding Academy, the first of its kind in the Middle East. The Academy maintains its “Training for Employment” model, which combines technical training with practical application, facilitating diverse career paths ranging from joining the workforce to launching entrepreneurial projects. Over the past seven years, the Academy has graduated more than 1,000 young women and men, achieving an employment rate exceeding 80%. Furthermore, its certificates carry accreditation from PSUT and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, reflecting the effectiveness and quality of its training model and the efficiency of outcomes.
Orange Jordan expressed pride in its partnership with PSUT, reaffirming that integrated collaboration between academic institutions and the private sector plays a vital role in developing national talents and empowering youth, which in turn contribute to creating a positive, sustainable impact on society. The company further emphasized that continuing the accreditation of Coding Academy certificates enhances the value of the training and the credibility of the skills acquired by graduates.
The Princess Sumaya University for Technology said that the continuity of this collaboration with Orange Jordan reflects the depth of the partnership, enhances the integration of academic and practical expertise to equip students and graduates with the digital skills required within the labor market, and represents an important step in elevating the quality of the training programs provided. The university also highlighted its commitment to developing this partnership to achieve a sustainable impact, supporting its vision to empower youth and build their capabilities in technology and innovation.
Notably, the Academy will open its doors on the 1st of September to a new cohort of students in Irbid and Amman, under a new program implemented in partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF). It includes providing intensive technical training to a total of 85 students, aged 18 to 35, across fields such as web development, artificial intelligence, freelancing, and life and career skills, followed by internships at companies in the tech ecosystem.
